Josiah draws on his experience from companies such as Networks In Motion (now Telecommunication Systems), Google/YouTube, Ad.ly, and now as Co-founder / CTO / Chief Architect at ChowNow.

After graduating Macalester College, Josiah went on to complete a Ph.D. in Theoretical Computer Science at UC Irvine. In addition, Josiah was formerly active in the Python and wxPython communities, and his work in the Redis community has culminated in his book, Redis in Action, being scheduled for print availability in February 2013 (available as an ebook now from Manning Publications).
