Salim is responsible for all aspects of customer acquisition, retention, engagement and monetization, game economy analytics as well as business development at Buffalo Studios, the Santa Monica based gaming studio that was recently acquired by Caesars Interactive Entertainment.
Salim is the Executive Vice President of Marketing & Monetization at Buffalo Studios, the Santa Monica based gaming studio that was recently acquired by Caesars Interactive Entertainment. Buffalo Studios’ flagship game is the innovative & category defining BINGO Blitz, the leading Bingo and Slots title currently available on Facebook, iOS, Android and Kindle. Salim is responsible for all aspects of customer acquisition, retention, engagement and monetization, game economy analytics as well as business development.
Prior to joining Buffalo in 2011, Salim was the co- Founder & COO of Wahanda, an online health, beauty & wellness booking marketplace that was named Techcrunch's ‘Best European Commerce Startup’, as well as ‘Best Beauty Website’ by Elle Magazine.
Salim also spent four years as the European Director for Yahoo! Search & Social Search where he was responsible for product strategy, monetization, distribution and marketing. Salim has also spent time as an investment banker in the Technology & Media team at Merrill Lynch, and as a consultant at A.T. Kearney and McKinsey & Company.
Salim holds an MBA from Stanford University, and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the Wharton School of Business. He speaks fluent Spanish and conversational French.
