With the help of a very capable management team he led Guidance Software through the IPO process and closed a successful IPO transaction with Morgan Stanley as the lead bank and Deloitte as the auditors.John has since served as an advisor to start-ups and small businesses helping to establish a strong vision followed by a scenario-based financial model from which a business plan, investor presentation, prospectus, goals and other business decisions can be derived. He also invested in a start-up web development business, and ran for United States Congress.
